Vous pouvez avoir accès aux données d'INTERMAGNET soit sous forme de magnétogrammes soit sous forme de fichiers de données. La politique et les procédures de mise à disposition de ces données sont sous la responsabilité de chaque GIN.

Les données préliminaires peuvent être obtenues au moyen de votre navigateur. Les données généralement disponibles sont celles du jour même ou celles de la veille. Dans le cas de certains observatoires lointains, les données ne sont disponibles que dans un délais de plusieurs jours.

Les données définitives d'INTERMAGNET au format du CD-ROM/DVD ou au format INTERMAGNET tableur (IAGA2002) peuvent être obtenues au moyen de votre navigateur . Ces données sont disponibles quand les observatoires les ont envoyées afin quelle soient mises dans le CD-ROM/DVD en cours. Les données définitives plus anciennes sont disponibles sur CD-ROM/DVD.

Il faut en faire la demande pour accéder par ftp aux données INTERMAGNET. Donc pour bénéficier de ce service, envoyez un e-mail à webmaster@geolab.nrcan.gc.ca.

Il est possible d'obtenir des tracés de toutes les données d'INTERMAGNET disponibles sur ce site WEB.

The member institutes of INTERMAGNET invest considerable resources to operate their magnetic observatories to INTERMAGNET standards. It is important that the institutes producing the data have a measure of the scientific return on their investment. Accordingly, we have the following Conditions of Use.

CONDITIONS OF USE FOR DATA PROVIDED THROUGH INTERMAGNET

The data made available through INTERMAGNET are provided for your use and are not for commercial use or sale or distribution to third parties without the written permission of the institute operating the observatory. Publications making use of the data should include an acknowledgment statement of the form given below. A citation reference should be sent to the INTERMAGNET Secretary (secretary@intermagnet.org) for inclusion in a publications list on the INTERMAGNET website.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF DATA FROM OBSERVATORIES PARTICIPATING IN INTERMAGNET

We offer two acknowledgement templates. The first is for cases where data from many observatories have been used and it is not practical to list them all, or each of their operating institutes. The second is for cases where research results have been produced using a smaller set of observatories.
