Les CD-ROM/DVDs
INTERMAGNET produit des CD-ROM/DVD qui contiennent les données définitives
(definitive data) des observatoires magnétiques. Les CD-ROM/DVDs INTERMAGNET
sont basés sur le format développé par l'USGS/NGIC.
Les données comprennent les valeurs minutes, horaires et journalières
des composantes (X,Y,Z ou D,H,Z), avec une résolution du dixième
de nanotesla ou du dixième de minute d'arc (déclinaison). De nombreuses
stations ont également inclus les valeurs du champ total (F) et
les valeurs d'indices K. Le logiciel et le manuel d'utilisation
sont fournis avec le CD-ROM/DVD.
Le CD-ROM/DVD lui-même est conforme aux normes ISO 9660, et peut
être utilisé sur n'importe quel lecteur conforme à cette norme.
Le logiciel d'accès utilise des menus "déroulants"
qui permettent à l'utilisateur d'afficher les données sous forme
graphique ou texte.

Les CD-ROM/DVDs d'INTERMAGNET sont disponibles sans frais pour les scientifiques
de bonne foi à des fins académiques seulement. En demandant un ou plusieurs
CD-ROM/DVDs, vous acceptez de vous soumettres aux conditions d'utilisations

The member institutes
of INTERMAGNET invest considerable resources to operate their magnetic observatories
to INTERMAGNET standards. It is important that the institutes producing the
data have a measure of the scientific return on their investment. Accordingly,

CONDITIONS OF USE FOR DATA PROVIDED THROUGH INTERMAGNET
The data made available through INTERMAGNET are provided for your use and are
not for commercial use or sale or distribution to third parties without the
written permission of the institute
operating the observatory. Publications making use of the data should include
an acknowledgment statement of the form given below. A citation reference should
be sent to the INTERMAGNET Secretary (secretary@intermagnet.org) for inclusion
in a publications list on the INTERMAGNET website.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF DATA FROM OBSERVATORIES PARTICIPATING IN INTERMAGNET
We offer two acknowledgement templates. The first is for cases where data from
many observatories have been used and it is not practical to list them all,
or each of their operating institutes. The second is for cases where research
results have been produced using a smaller set of observatories.
